The story of VIAJUR wine begins
in the Pálffy Manor House in Svätý Jur.
In a boutique winery, we respectfully continue the historical legacy that dates back to 1580. It was the time when the former owner of the manor, Katarína Pálffy, successfully managed her vineyards and wine production in Svätý Jur experienced an unprecedented boom. We have breathed new life and new ideas into the original Pálffy cellars. Welcome to a place where traditions are being transformed into innovation with a flow. Welcome to VIAJUR winery.

Katarína Pálffy’s determination is our motivation and inspiration. Exposed to many harsh trials, she did not give up and stubbornly fought to save not only her possessions but also her love.
She continues to be our patron, but everything is currently under the supervision of our director and enologist Tomáš Dilong. He uses his valuable experience and knowledge gained during the study of oenology in New Zealand. “The wine always gave me back several times the energy I put into it. We matured together and learned from each other. It became my passion, which brought me to Svätý Jur – the wine sanctuary of Slovakia.”
