We approach the cultivation of vines with love for nature itself. That is why we are currently in the conversion of vine growing to organic farming.
We do not use herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or any conventional chemical sprays. On the contrary, we use everything that comes from growing vines. We produce pure grape juice from the grapes obtained during picking and use the waste from pressing to produce compost, which is then used to grow vegetables. In addition, we use modern technologies such as meteorological stations to help us choose the right agro-technical operations.
Brown soils with loess subsoil are interspersed with sites with the same soil profile as the legendary Château Pétrus. Terroir in Farná favours aromatic white varieties, beautiful blue varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon or Frankovka modrá, but also characteristic Slovak wine varieties such as Dunaj or Hron. Moreover, all wines from our production are vegan, white and rosé wines are low-histamine as well.
